Chocolate Macaroons

I always love a recipe with only 4 ingredients – these chocolate macaroons taste as good as they are simple.


  • PREP TIME: 20 minutes

  • BAKE TIME: 15 minutes

  • SERVINGS: Makes 18 cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped

  • ¾ of a 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk (3/4 cups)

  • pinch of salt

  • 1 - 7 ounce bag of sweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. I the bowl of a double boiler, combine chocolate, condensed milk, and salt. Heat until melted and continue stirring until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add coconut and vanilla. Stir to combine well.

  2. With a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until set. Let cool on wire racks.
